Weddington Watch, October 26 2007

A few Yamaha Weddington’s were on eBay earlier this week, a Classic and a Special.
The Classic, with a number of chips and scratches over the entire guitar, sold for $412. Nice for a player’s guitar, or as the basis for a restoration.
The Special, with only minor blemishes, went for $432. Cool. I probably would have jumped in and bid on this one if I hadn’t just picked up the Pacifica 1412.

Hi.
Just thought I’d let you know I bought the black Weddington Special you mention in your Oct. 26 post. It arrived today and I’ve had a bit of time to check it out.
It’s basically in mint condition. A couple of tiny, almost unnoticeable, dents and scratches is about it. No fret wear but a bit of tarnish. No pot noise. Plays beautifully.
I’d say it’s been standing around inside it’s case inside someone’s closet for most of it’s life.
Came with the original case and manual.
Many thanks for all the Weddington info you’ve posted. I have another Special and could find no information at all about it until I found your site.
Gary.
