I stumbled on a this post on The Gear Page and though it was too good to let languish unremarked.

I treated it really nicely for a few months - bought it flowers, took it to Broadway shows, nice dinners, the whole works. Then I turned around and started treating it meanly, “forgetting” our appointments, taking it to McDonalds on Saturday nights, ignoring its phone messages, etc. Now it’s trying so hard to figure out what went wrong, and it’ll do anything I say—just to try and please me and have me treat it like I used to do.
Strats are so dumb…
